The Father's Song

Gill and I woke up this morning to The Father's Song, written by Matt Redman, as our alarm call. The You Tube link below is the Robin Mark version of the song, which is the one we heard today. I have shown the lyrics to this song below the video, if you feel to sing along.
Listening to it, I began thinking about a word from scripture and was led to Psalm 42 verse 8, Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life. (AV)
I love the thought that The Lord sings to us in the night hours, a sweeter song than we shall ever hear elsewhere. Thank you, Lord.
The Father's Song I have heard so many songs
Listened to a thousand tongues
But there is one
That sounds above them all
The Father's song
The Father's love
You sung it over me and for eternity
Its written on my heart

CHORUS:
Heavens perfect melody
The Creator's symphony
You are singing over me
The Father's song

Heavens perfect mystery
The king of love has sent for me
And now you're singing over me
The Father's song

I have heard so many songs
Listened to a thousand tongues
But there is one
That sounds above them all
[Sounds above them all]
The Father's song
The Father's love
You sung it over me and for eternity
Its written on my heart

CHORUS
Its Heavens perfect mystery
The king of love has sent for me
And now you're singing over me
The Father's song

The Father's song
The Father's love
You sung it over me and for eternity
Its written on my heart

[Its written on my heart]

The Father's song
The Father's love
You sung it over me and for eternity
Its written on my heart

Its written on my heart
You sing it over me
Father

    MEDITATE ON THESE THINGS…

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
